Day II

''good morninggggggggggg'' the intonation with which Suman ma'am used to wake us up will forever stay in my mind... at 6, she woke us up... i ran to the loo first. there were like 2 tents to take bath, and 3 for shitting. there were shit pots with pits, so u shit and fill it with sand.. there was a shovel as well to put the sand... hahaha.Hence harshi and me were the first ones to brush our teeth for we had no energy to stand in the que :) i had slept in the same clothes i was wearing the previous night for it was sooo freaking cold, so chilling that i was shivering in the blanket... that previous night after writing the diary, when it came to ''sleeping'' i became a baby... i fear darkness big time... so i had my torch switched on through out the night. i even woke up in the middle of the night to find that the torch had consumed all the battery, meanwhile that darkness was killing me.. so i hastily tried changing the batteries. that ended me having a broken torch... bahhh, hate it!!! in a nutshell i had a disturbed-cum-good sleep, lol, what a combo!
so that morning, once we were fresh we moved on to the dinner area, for the ''choti hazari'' (a short meeting). now the view was clear... as i had imagined, mountains everywhere, greenary, very peaceful only when we were quiet or else we 36 were enough to make a mayhem over there... could hear the divine water flow... it was cold...
that morning, CC divided us into two groups... finally... according to them these groups were only for Trekking purpose however there was discrimination all the time on the basis of the two gangs that had been formed... hehe!! ;)
fortunately, in my group there was Harshi, Mayank, Anupam, Diya, Shardooli and NO SHAGUN!! somehow we escaped her for once... and then the rest of the people of which i remember Sanya, Rachit, Rishika, Sanya, Govind, Kartikey, Ashray, Rohan, Shivani, Bharat, Ishan, Arshya, and many more, tatal of 18... ta-da!! Our instructors were, Kuber sir, Naveen Sir and Suman ma'am! they took us to the ''beach'' area... few sat on the rocks and many on the tree trunk... we were given markers and a chart paper. we were asked to write everything about what we expect from Youreka! and meanwhile think of some name for our gang... i took the initiative to write first, while Kartikey and govind were thinking and making up stupid names... i wrote '' i wanna make good friends, have loads of funn... and take back good memories! :) ''
SO finally our group's name was ''Pathar uthaaoo, Todoo" (pick a stone and break it) lol... even i laughed when i heard of it, however it has a special explaination to it... that, 'whenever there'll be a problem as big as a rock or stone we'll break it and solve it, you see we are very strong!' so we were called the  ''todooos'' hahaha! i loved it... i seriously do.. i'll miss the way naveen sir always shouted for us ''oyee TODOOSSS jaldi aaoo'' (hey, todoos, come fast!)  now this will really bring tears to my eyes... (freak no matter how much homesick i was, i'm gonna miss it! freak!!) i loved being called a todoo! :) morover, after that our instructors asked us to make a circle.. we found out that or instructors were really fond of shapes, for later on after the circle they asked us to make a square... when we made a shape somewhat like square, we were aksed to introduce ourselves by telling something that no one knew about you.. so i said ''hi, i'm arushi and i'm learning belly-dancing''.. everyone was like ''wow''- i knew that would impress anyone!! hahaha...
anyway, moving on, we were asked to change into our shorts and floaters, precisely anything but shoes, for our activity of the day RAFTING!!!... and move on to have breakfast... i changed into shorts, tee, combed my hair (not actually.. even though i had bought a new comb, i must have used it like thrice, nothing more than that, somehow i wasnt that keen on taking care of my hair...i simply hate them when they go oily, so i start caring less! :P )
i'd massage the sunscreen all over my body, even though it came out to be useless... we trekked all the way up to the road.. took us 20 minutes. it was tiring and we ran out of breath... the two groups were asked to board the mini truck alloted to them.. just like cattle is tranferred from one place to the other standing in the back of the truck, our condition was something like that only. the only difference was that we were 18 and falling on each other, the ride didnt turn out to be that  smooth and hence i had my first bruise over there... hahaha!! anyway, we  werent less than a cattle... all the instructors always regarded us as ''guys'', 'guys do this', 'guys come here'.,' guys lets go'... for all those who dont know, in hindi you call a cow - guy! hahaha!
the rafting was hosted by Aquaterra poeple, about 5-6 km from the camp site... on the way a natural water fall came (or in mayank's language majnu's desperation), which became like a game, everytime we passed it, we had to escape from it.. hehe. on the way the "inme'' camp also came. i have heard its the camp by the reliance company...
anyway, at the rafting venue, we were further divided into grups of 6... mine included, rishika, rachit, sanya, arshya, harshita and me! our rafting guide was Pankaj... he told us about various commands like -forward paddle, back paddle, jump in, stop and much more... there was a kayak as well which ofcourse the pro did, and also came with us as though he was the life guard like at swimming pools for he could help the one whose drowning... he even gave a separate list of instructions...
we started rafting after 45 minutes and... it was fun.. it was a 6km strtech we rafted on... there were 1-2 grade rapids nothing dangerous... water level was also very low. the rocks in the river were also visible and the flow of the water was comparatively slow... we often bumped into other rafts and had the water fight with them... after 4 km of rafting a shore came where the guides would stop the rafts and we could take a dip in the freezing water... and there was also a bridge over there that lead to the inme camp.. there many of us shouted'' inme sucks, youreka! rocks'' fun it was... after about 20 minutes of swimming,lol.. we moved on... and my first experience of rafting was decent... decent because i have heard that rafting is dangerous, people fall and it was nothing like that... when i asked the guide that, arent there any tricky rapids, he said that if we come individually and not with any institution they take us to better rapids... nevermind...all this ended up having our sun-screen so worthless... i was a lil tanned...

oh forgot to mention... so whenever we went out as ''todoos'', Naveen sir would always make us shout out loud our slogan. he would say ''pathar uthaaoo'' and the18 of us would shout ''tod-dooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!''... awesome... and while rafting, pankaj would say ''jimmie jimmie jimmie'' and the 6 of us would shout ''oye oye oyyee!!!!!'' and there was another one as well, where we would shout '' yo babay, yo babay, yo baby, yoooooooooooooooooo'' and hoot with our paddle in the air toucking the sky! :) so much of funn...

Navenn sir asked us, not to change but simply have lunch and after that we would go to this pond for swimming... once back at the camp we were first served with squash... they always did take care that we are hydrated all the time.. so before we left for any activity we would always have 2 glasses of water... so the squash was part of the deal.. our lunch was nice... we took a lil nap, just a mere rest and the the todoos, shouting our best slogan, trekked about 2-3km to the pond... it was tiring... before we trekked down to the pond, we were made to sit on the ground and were given instructions.. about mountain manners...
1.walk in line, it is sophisticated, looks disciplined plus kills less vegetation. Fact: centimetre square of FERTILE land contains more organisms than the population of the world
2.greet the locals
3.talk in low voice, say no to noise pollution

the trek towards the pond was very dangerous.. we had to climb down a hill, which had about 50 cm wide path, full of stones, awfully steep and there were nettle leaves all over the place.., felt like was in roadies, lol... and then further there were stones and big rocks to climb... i even slipped on one and thus, got my second injury... shoot!!

the pond was seriously small... had rocks underneath that gave a bruise to harshita... i dived into that dirty, full of tadpoles water from a rock of good height like 6 times.. soo much of funn and as usual the water was chilling... harshi, chickened out when it came to jump into the water... anupam was so stupid that he dived in without taking off his glasses,  kuber sir searched for them and was lucky enough to find them...naveen and kuber sir would splash water onto us, and we would shiver out of cold when we would be almost dry... after spending like and hour or so we started moving back... at the camp, we rested, changed into dry clothes...
that evening we were taken to the beach.. there we were intoduced with ''cool book''. it is a journal sort... have puzzles, space for us to write the summary about, how we'd spend the day... that was the ''solo time'' actually.. which majority of people didnt like, please exclude me from it... i loved my solo time... you were asked to find a space, anywhere.. near water, far from the river, on the rock, on the sand, wherever, however 10ft away from the nearby person... i loved writing into my cool book and enjoyed the beauty around... that was the only place where i can actually agree on spending the rst of my life!... lol... after the solo time was over, we played games, based on team work..
that evening we were further treated with soup that had bread crums... lol.. that evening was however a lilttle boring, somehow...
the notice board that night read ''9pm bonfire''... it was okay... people were still in groups.. we got to hear ghost stories... hahahaha i even got scared... that night there was a lil trouble with shagun's bed.. so the instructors came to see it... while they were solving the whole thing, i sneaked out thinking that i would tell harshi to keep her tent open and i would sneak in late... ta-da...i realise that the instructors in my tent didnt realise that i had sneaked out, so i stayed there, anyway... what a luck... i slept with harshi and it wasnt that uncomfortable...we somehow managed... i was relieved to be with someone i knew, i felt homesick only at night... i hate darkness... makes me feel insecure inside out!!
and ta-da... that was my second day... still feeling that it wasnt that great an idea to have come here with harshi. either i should have come with my own group or simply should'nt have come...
i closed my eyes that night, saying good night to diya, chandni and harshita thinking only 6 more days to go... somehow, i'll survive...

************
so today, i felt much better... and guess what? my dear lil beshtie, Aaki gave me a surprise.. not literally a one, but i was surprised, lol... she called me and told me that she'll be near my place with her cousin and hence wanted to visit me... and i was like ''ache kaam mein kis baat kii derii''... we didnt have that good time, you know having serious talk and all, but had funn.. it was pure bliss to have met her after soo long!!!

in the eve saloni and me went to amar colony... all through the camp i missed the chaat papadii... it is like to die for, mannn... so we had that... we went and then sat in CCD... we were broke and ordered the least expensive , choco chip muffin... we shared the lil cake and sat there for like 45 minutes... i told her all about the camp.. and in return i was enlightened by all that i missed in past 8 days...
even though sherlyn's outta station i went at her place, her father was home... i asked uncle about how she was doing and about her result for she gave all india board and not cbse... i was told that her result will be the same day as mine... plus i even got to talk to her on phone.. she's doing fine.. haveing a lil tiff with her mum...she'll be back on 27th... and i'm excited to meet her...

today my devils won and defeated the mumbai indians... and anyway, how does it matter whether we lose or win, we're already qualified for the semi-finals... way to go, Delhi DareDevils! mwaahhh...

i came to know that my chopra partner, aka, shefali aka shefu got a tatoo done... ohh, even i want one.. well i will, soon... soon as in, probably another 3-4 years, lol... but i will... *nmw* :P

tomorrow morning i'm going for some aerobics class with saloni

Ps. my result's due for tuesday... i'm nervous...but more of excited!

Day-I {Camp}

SO my trip was amazing... awesome... The following post is about my first day at the camp straight from my travel journal, at how i didnt have any patience and wanted to know everyone at once...How i simply judged many people wrong...and true as well!!!

DAY-I
I got up at like 3:45am, even though the alarm was on silent.lol. thanks to my sisi i'd wake up. i woke up to switch on the geezer. Then, i'd reset the alam to 4:15, and took bath. got ready in my Tee and a pair of jeans. I woke up dad and maa. Made tea for them...
All of my stuff was packed into a rucksack and also there was another bag that contained a pair of shoes and a lil more stuff... we left, around 5:30.
reported the new delhi railway station at 6, the time Youreka! wanted us. AT the station there was a youreka! banner and many other arrangements to guide us well till the old VIP parking section where we had to gather.
There, as sson as dad stopped the car, i saw sooo many people with luggage lying + many people + *cute* guys.
We got our i-cards.
After like 15 minutes Harshi arrived. Her entry was the bestt.. She tripped and literally fell onto me!! hahahaha. you know just like those dramatic entrance of a hero! :P

Maa was being too possessive about stuff-''mnake sure she's with a lady instructor'' ''take care of yourself'' she recited her list of do's and dont's!! but i understand.

Everybody had sexy rucksack, however mine was the most hideous one, thus i was pretty embarassed, even though i survived.

We boarded the train like 20 minutes later. our i-cards had our seats number as well. my roll number was 15 and seat no.23.
SO harshi, always the lucky one, got a seat next to a guy and seat 23 was a part of the alignment of seats 24, 25. AND NO ONE SAT ON 24 and 25!!!!!!!! *annoying*

there are many cute guys but all so high class, rich snobs. dad recognised another parent there. i intorduced myself to their son. he is cute. (too much of cuteness, huh!! LOL)

and then, in the train we saw ''groupism''  everyone sitting in different corners. aparantly a girl came upto harshi and me and intoduced herself to us. Her name's SHagun, school - G.D. Goenka. SHe's tall, fat and a chepoo, that is, she would nag with us all the time. Too suffocating.

Gradually harshi made friends with the guy sitting next to him. his name's anupam and infront of them sat, mayank, anupam's cousin precisely.
Mayank's a fatso studying in Birla VIdya Niketan School about 5'6. But freaking hilarious, then, was anupam, he's dark, my height. Both of them in class 11.

wE four became good friends. We'd play dum-sharaaz, that is, ''I'll act and you guess the movie'' game. lol! it was however fun. The train journey was owkiesh, we didnt come to know how just time passed away in playing and having funn...

then, after 3 hours(probably) of the train journey, we were embarked on ''car'' journey, where we were joined by shagun.

So in the silver golden scorpio (that i had chosen) we were 5peeps + an instructor and the driver. It was almost 8hrs journey. All the way mayank kept us entertained. we changed seats, ate and LAUGHED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Atleast, I must have laughed SO SO SO SO SOooooo much after ages, laughed till my stomach was hurting and i had tears all the time ( my fits can make me do wonders)
Mayank is a dramatist. He's done courses in sooo many drama schools including National School of Drama, aka NSD, in delhi, Plays guitar, precisely veryyy talented!!. Anupam is an animator...
Thanks to his drama talent Mayank entertained us with on the spot made up stories about the scenary we saw around us as we climed up the mountain, round and round and round... greenary, lilttle villages, very less civilisation and river flowing along... Outrageous, it was...

On the way, around like 6 in the evening when it started to get dark, one of the tires of the scorpio became almost flat... our unluck... hahahaha! SO in the middle of the mountains just like the scene from a fairytale when no one's around, and you're stuck in the middle of nowhere, the driver started fixing the tire whereas we 5 enoyed the nature...
Once done, we moved on and it was dark by now... we were already running late... after like driving for 5km and not been able to reach the destination we asked the locals for the direction and the 3 men whom the driver asked were probably drunk... hahahaha. It was the first time Tons for the instructor as well so poor guy didnt know where we were suppose to go. Meanwhile mayank started with his ghost stories... Bahh!! I'm a sicko i started getting scared and panicking a little... what a loser :P:P
However, with all the patience we moved on and finally reached the place... We had to trekk down the mountain on 50cm wide way down, to the camp side. Since it was dark we couldn't make out how the place looked like exactly... we 5 were the last one to reach... Our Camp Chief, aka CC, aka Avik welcomed us...''heloooo Ladies and ladaass!!''
All the 36 of us were asked to gather at the dining area... it was a circular area with stools to sit on, tables to serve the food, tubs to wash the dishes (yes!!! we had to wash the dishes on our own!! :P ), a white board where the notifications and the day planner is written... there were lights lit on with the help of batteries, else there was no connectivity, no cellphone. even the water to drink was supplied directly from the river that flowed next to the camp area... There were two sinks with a water tank that had water and a mug... there were soaps and mirror as well. So even if you dont look good you could check yourslef in the mirror...
In total there were about 37 tents, i suppose, that included tents of the staff as well.
Behind the dinner area was the bathroom tents for guys... just opposite the dinner area was the way which lead to the ''beach''
Beach in mountains?? hahaha. there were stones all over the place, for a stretch of about 100 metres...and at the shore, ofcourse the immortal, great divine water of the river Tons flowed, 24*7. That place was the besttt part about the whole place...

CC assinged me in room 10 with Avarna and Arshya, however they exchanged the tents and eventually whom i tried to escape, the great Shagun was in my tent. There was Shardooli as well. She's a sweetheart. her bestfriend Diya and another girl Chandni were Harshita's tent's mates in the tent next door, no.11.

Our dinner was delicious (even though i dont remember exactly what i had).

after saying ''goodnight''s we came to our tents and now with the help of torch i'm writing all this sitting on the bed. various sounds from outside has faded. very less whispers, my bags are on my bed for i dont want any creepy creature to be a part of my personal belongings!! I feel i could sleep with harshi, for i fear darkness and i do feel insecure at night. I can hear the sound of water...

Here at this place where Harshi and me came to ''meet'' people, make friends with them, they turned out to be snob, pretty, and ofcourse; rich brats!!! All of them have come in groups, mostly with their partners! wtf. here i'm happy to be friends with mayank and anupam, but since shagun is romaing with us, no one wants to talk to us. Fuck. and they are ALWAYS into their groups. this isnt fair. How do we survive i dont know!!!

All around are ofcourse mountains, THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SKY WITH ACTUALLY TRILLION OF STARS, there are claimed to be!

Our tents are in rows. One row is of girls and opposite row is of the boys..

Apart from a CC, there's a doctor, his name's Adam (whose been resting as he's dehydrated, lol).We have instructors named Gulab, Tara, Naveen, Suman , Roopa and many other whose name i dont remember, actually!

Goddd... i cant believe i'm homesick already... i miss everything... How will i ever survive the rest of the week...

Godd its cold, i'm in my jacket and socks... we've to get up at 6 in the morning.. we'll be divided into groups of 18 each; tomorrow.. hopefully get my room-mates changed as well... Fuck. Please help me survive.

*sign*

Ps. Why is it that, I've the worst luck???
***

Today, after 8 days of tireness, exhaustion, excitement, having funn...i had the most relaxed day of my life... my Facebook status reads -wow, this day was surly worthy of the tiring past 8 days... have slept almost the whole day, enjoyedd!!! the pleasure of being pampered is just so out of the world!!! :D:D:D:D ps. gonna eat momos next!! xxx
My body was hurting from head to toe, hence i got a body massage... so awesome.. i slept for like 4-5 hours in total... few hours early in the day and rest later in the evening... Then took bath after like 4 days... what a relief...

Ps. I didnt write my journal for the rest of the trip, gonna simply brief about each day here on the very page of Takyakalam... :)

All Set For The Camp...

I'm... where i was dying to live these days few months back it is no less than a dream that it is more than a month since i gave my boards... rather another 20 days my result will be out, *shit I'm scared*
It was my dear sister who gave me this idea to go on a camp...and so unexpectedly it is HAPPENINGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
[It's a camp by iDiscovery, known as Youreka. It is a rafting, hiking and trekking camp... It is at a place known as Tons, which is 180km beyond Dehradun. There'll be tents laid by the side of the river Tons, between the greenery of the beautiful mountains... aaah... awesome!! :D]

OoMiiGhosh!! Unbelieveable... this gives me an opportunity to meet new people. I think, I'm a bit of an introvert so it will be an amazing experience to test me...
Anyway, so Harshita and me are done with the packing, there are some ''to-buy-at-the-end-moment'' stuff yet to be bought, else I'm done with everything else...
SoooooOO excited... :D:D:D:D I have no idea what I'm going to do after I'm back from the mostttt fab. vacation aka camp, but I promise you there will be TOnnNS of posts here; to expalin it all... Going to click MannYY pictures, memorise each and everyday I'm going to spend there for, it is going to the trip of my life (hopefully ;) )... I'm glad Harshita is going to be there, she's gonna help have ''more'' fun... and for all those who teased me that I may bump into a *cute* guy, i simply wish it happens, lol... you never know... :-P

Ps. I leave on the 12 morning, gotta catch a train from New Delhi Railway station at like 6... and will be back on the 19 night, around 11-ish..

Pps. Wishing all the mothers a very Happy Mother's Day!! :)

Cedar and Cheer!

On the 1st May, I started with my new diary, aka Cheer... My last Cheer looked somewhat like this... It had a hideous cover page so I had covered it with a white chart paper... stuck one of my favourite pictures, of mine only... lol... And made it look ''good'' so that it is worth writing in!
So above my picture, it reads ''zealousme'' , below it reads ''princess'' and then i have written my name all over the place... it isnt that visible, however i had sketched ''A'' on the left corner of the diary... it is a 400 pages journal... well my next task is to count the number of diaries I have written till now...

And you can make out the difference between a guitar and the diary.. so the guitar of course, is *Cedar*... then there is the back side of the journal, the last page of Cheer...and one of the middle pages of my journal... ta-da and thats it! :)

Chaos of being in school...

31st August 2008, was pondering over the fact of how time just passes by...

today i went to get my picture clicked, passport size, for my form of class 10. Due for tomorrow, but apparently I'll give it on Tuesday! Cute picture, I'm smiling in it. When i was in class 8, when i was soo chilled out that 10 is so far, but Now, I'm going through what i never thought of! i don't really remember my first day in high school, except! you know sun shining damn hard,my skirt HIGH waist and the class 6 is standing up of the Basket Ball court, wandering about, looking at those strangers -''SENIORS'', we were looking forward to a new start, dunno what's gonna happen and THEN, all of a sudden we are missing the junior school!!! We don't wanna live here! And as soon as time (which i hate) passes --> we have forgotten all, we live with faded memories, we are all adjusted to our new home. And as the clock is ticking, our skirts come down to low waist, hairstyle, fashion, high socks to a level that of the ankle and wear all abusing language, that, i thought didn't even exist! Class 10 then was a dream or More Than That!!! Aaki as bestie, Gen.X., being desperado, teachers, first crush-out of the world! Now 2 years!!! I'll make then the BEST EVER!!! The unexpected will do its best and i'll take it! There's so much in life and I'm sooooooo WAITING!!!!

This week was the toughest, the hardest and not THAT terrible week of my summer, lol...
From my side i got all the tension settled with aaki-shefu-viku. I mean viku still has some problem however we 8 are all looking forward for that perfect night stay where hopefully we wont lose our tempers and not let our ego talk. I mean right now the only thing is the ''ego-clashing'' amongst us. We 8 are sooo different from each other that it amazes me when i try to answer the question that Sakshi had asked me ''how did you EIGHT become FRIENDS??"

Things with Harshi and Samster have, on the other side, got a lil worse...

When I had called Viku, I knew i was at fault, i heard all that she had to say... she was rude and harsh however i deserved it. i think with all the patience on this earth i must have listened to viku. but i couldn't stop crying!! the very thought that Gen.x. will be no more was an utter shock for me. I mean crying is something else. It was like ''wild''crying. This was the second time with in 14 days, i felt so HELPLESS that i thought all efforts i made were soo invisible. useless. My dad, was shocked at my status. he came and hugged me. all i could do was hug him back, so tightly and cry my heart out, wildly... shoot mann...A sister like sakshi is soo very hard to find.. trust me, had she not been there things b/w viku n me must have been even more entangled by now!! That very sense of helpless-ness was scaring and i don't want to experience it any more... That very night aaki had called me, we sorted things amongst us.
The next day when she called, all she could go was ''blah-blah-blah-blah-blah-blah'' it was like she was speaking at hundred miles an hour speed, without any break. that is, she gave me NO chance to explain anything. all she could do was; go on n on n on n on!!! whoa, all i did was out of anger and also my EGO, kept the phone SO HARD.now, when she called back, sisi did the talking.
Now i'll take my parent's advice, now i made my effort, rest is all up to the others... even my patience has exhausted, to the core...and now my ego has become vulnerable, lol...I will stay quiet and give others the space and time...

So anyway, i was glad to have talked to viku and shefu already,so  that when we met for sadhika's birthday, it seemed as though nothing had happened. it was awesome. I even travelled in metro all by myself... yeah me! ;)

And on Tuesday, Sakshi, Sayan( her boyfriend), Saloni (my friend) and me had gone shopping.
I had to shop for the camp, which i didn't... bought these three amazingly hott tops apparently which i cant wear to camp, and yeah a pair of shoes WHICH is for camp only and a bit of accessories... It was funn.. had a wonderful day... Sayan bhaiya seemed tired of carrying the shopping bags, lol!

on Monday, in the evening, i had gone for a Dosa party at neha's place... after having dosas, idli, and desert (i don't know what it is called) we were 5 girls, went into the colony. The weather was ideally romantic, and we enjoyed it. There was a lil of dust-storm. We went to this big park, where there are swings... Mann, swings are my another BIG WEAKNESS, i die for them. it's like that icing on the cake, while swinging under such a beautiful weather... we were shouting, hooting and made a mayhem in that park, lol... due to such rainy weather many people had left, so it wasn't that abashing...

Else the very season of phalse is here , the month of May... it's an Indian fruit. appear as tiny berries... it is called phalse in delhi, however have no idea what it is regarded as, in the other states... :)

Any change, any loss, does not make us victims. Others can shake you, surprise you, disappoint you, but they can't prevent you from acting, from taking the situation you're presented with and moving on. No matter where you are in life, no matter what your situation, you can always do something. You always have a choice and the choice can be power.

  - Blaine Lee, "The Power Principle"

“every time we are disturbed, no matter what the cause, there is something wrong with us"
No matter how unreasonable others may seem, I am responsible for not reacting negatively. Regardless of what is happening around me I will always have the prerogative, and the responsibility, of choosing what happens within me. I am the creator of my own reality.
When I [review my day], I know that I must stop judging others. If I judge others, I am probably judging myself. Whoever is upsetting me most is my best teacher. I have much to learn from him or her, and in my hearts, I should thank that person.

  - Bill Wilson, "Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions, p. 88"
