Day II

''good morninggggggggggg'' the intonation with which Suman ma'am used to wake us up will forever stay in my mind... at 6, she woke us up... i ran to the loo first. there were like 2 tents to take bath, and 3 for shitting. there were shit pots with pits, so u shit and fill it with sand.. there was a shovel as well to put the sand... hahaha.Hence harshi and me were the first ones to brush our teeth for we had no energy to stand in the que :) i had slept in the same clothes i was wearing the previous night for it was sooo freaking cold, so chilling that i was shivering in the blanket... that previous night after writing the diary, when it came to ''sleeping'' i became a baby... i fear darkness big time... so i had my torch switched on through out the night. i even woke up in the middle of the night to find that the torch had consumed all the battery, meanwhile that darkness was killing me.. so i hastily tried changing the batteries. that ended me having a broken torch... bahhh, hate it!!! in a nutshell i had a disturbed-cum-good sleep, lol, what a combo!
so that morning, once we were fresh we moved on to the dinner area, for the ''choti hazari'' (a short meeting). now the view was clear... as i had imagined, mountains everywhere, greenary, very peaceful only when we were quiet or else we 36 were enough to make a mayhem over there... could hear the divine water flow... it was cold...
that morning, CC divided us into two groups... finally... according to them these groups were only for Trekking purpose however there was discrimination all the time on the basis of the two gangs that had been formed... hehe!! ;)
fortunately, in my group there was Harshi, Mayank, Anupam, Diya, Shardooli and NO SHAGUN!! somehow we escaped her for once... and then the rest of the people of which i remember Sanya, Rachit, Rishika, Sanya, Govind, Kartikey, Ashray, Rohan, Shivani, Bharat, Ishan, Arshya, and many more, tatal of 18... ta-da!! Our instructors were, Kuber sir, Naveen Sir and Suman ma'am! they took us to the ''beach'' area... few sat on the rocks and many on the tree trunk... we were given markers and a chart paper. we were asked to write everything about what we expect from Youreka! and meanwhile think of some name for our gang... i took the initiative to write first, while Kartikey and govind were thinking and making up stupid names... i wrote '' i wanna make good friends, have loads of funn... and take back good memories! :) ''
SO finally our group's name was ''Pathar uthaaoo, Todoo" (pick a stone and break it) lol... even i laughed when i heard of it, however it has a special explaination to it... that, 'whenever there'll be a problem as big as a rock or stone we'll break it and solve it, you see we are very strong!' so we were called the  ''todooos'' hahaha! i loved it... i seriously do.. i'll miss the way naveen sir always shouted for us ''oyee TODOOSSS jaldi aaoo'' (hey, todoos, come fast!)  now this will really bring tears to my eyes... (freak no matter how much homesick i was, i'm gonna miss it! freak!!) i loved being called a todoo! :) morover, after that our instructors asked us to make a circle.. we found out that or instructors were really fond of shapes, for later on after the circle they asked us to make a square... when we made a shape somewhat like square, we were aksed to introduce ourselves by telling something that no one knew about you.. so i said ''hi, i'm arushi and i'm learning belly-dancing''.. everyone was like ''wow''- i knew that would impress anyone!! hahaha...
anyway, moving on, we were asked to change into our shorts and floaters, precisely anything but shoes, for our activity of the day RAFTING!!!... and move on to have breakfast... i changed into shorts, tee, combed my hair (not actually.. even though i had bought a new comb, i must have used it like thrice, nothing more than that, somehow i wasnt that keen on taking care of my hair...i simply hate them when they go oily, so i start caring less! :P )
i'd massage the sunscreen all over my body, even though it came out to be useless... we trekked all the way up to the road.. took us 20 minutes. it was tiring and we ran out of breath... the two groups were asked to board the mini truck alloted to them.. just like cattle is tranferred from one place to the other standing in the back of the truck, our condition was something like that only. the only difference was that we were 18 and falling on each other, the ride didnt turn out to be that  smooth and hence i had my first bruise over there... hahaha!! anyway, we  werent less than a cattle... all the instructors always regarded us as ''guys'', 'guys do this', 'guys come here'.,' guys lets go'... for all those who dont know, in hindi you call a cow - guy! hahaha!
the rafting was hosted by Aquaterra poeple, about 5-6 km from the camp site... on the way a natural water fall came (or in mayank's language majnu's desperation), which became like a game, everytime we passed it, we had to escape from it.. hehe. on the way the "inme'' camp also came. i have heard its the camp by the reliance company...
anyway, at the rafting venue, we were further divided into grups of 6... mine included, rishika, rachit, sanya, arshya, harshita and me! our rafting guide was Pankaj... he told us about various commands like -forward paddle, back paddle, jump in, stop and much more... there was a kayak as well which ofcourse the pro did, and also came with us as though he was the life guard like at swimming pools for he could help the one whose drowning... he even gave a separate list of instructions...
we started rafting after 45 minutes and... it was fun.. it was a 6km strtech we rafted on... there were 1-2 grade rapids nothing dangerous... water level was also very low. the rocks in the river were also visible and the flow of the water was comparatively slow... we often bumped into other rafts and had the water fight with them... after 4 km of rafting a shore came where the guides would stop the rafts and we could take a dip in the freezing water... and there was also a bridge over there that lead to the inme camp.. there many of us shouted'' inme sucks, youreka! rocks'' fun it was... after about 20 minutes of swimming,lol.. we moved on... and my first experience of rafting was decent... decent because i have heard that rafting is dangerous, people fall and it was nothing like that... when i asked the guide that, arent there any tricky rapids, he said that if we come individually and not with any institution they take us to better rapids... nevermind...all this ended up having our sun-screen so worthless... i was a lil tanned...

oh forgot to mention... so whenever we went out as ''todoos'', Naveen sir would always make us shout out loud our slogan. he would say ''pathar uthaaoo'' and the18 of us would shout ''tod-dooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!''... awesome... and while rafting, pankaj would say ''jimmie jimmie jimmie'' and the 6 of us would shout ''oye oye oyyee!!!!!'' and there was another one as well, where we would shout '' yo babay, yo babay, yo baby, yoooooooooooooooooo'' and hoot with our paddle in the air toucking the sky! :) so much of funn...

Navenn sir asked us, not to change but simply have lunch and after that we would go to this pond for swimming... once back at the camp we were first served with squash... they always did take care that we are hydrated all the time.. so before we left for any activity we would always have 2 glasses of water... so the squash was part of the deal.. our lunch was nice... we took a lil nap, just a mere rest and the the todoos, shouting our best slogan, trekked about 2-3km to the pond... it was tiring... before we trekked down to the pond, we were made to sit on the ground and were given instructions.. about mountain manners...
1.walk in line, it is sophisticated, looks disciplined plus kills less vegetation. Fact: centimetre square of FERTILE land contains more organisms than the population of the world
2.greet the locals
3.talk in low voice, say no to noise pollution

the trek towards the pond was very dangerous.. we had to climb down a hill, which had about 50 cm wide path, full of stones, awfully steep and there were nettle leaves all over the place.., felt like was in roadies, lol... and then further there were stones and big rocks to climb... i even slipped on one and thus, got my second injury... shoot!!

the pond was seriously small... had rocks underneath that gave a bruise to harshita... i dived into that dirty, full of tadpoles water from a rock of good height like 6 times.. soo much of funn and as usual the water was chilling... harshi, chickened out when it came to jump into the water... anupam was so stupid that he dived in without taking off his glasses,  kuber sir searched for them and was lucky enough to find them...naveen and kuber sir would splash water onto us, and we would shiver out of cold when we would be almost dry... after spending like and hour or so we started moving back... at the camp, we rested, changed into dry clothes...
that evening we were taken to the beach.. there we were intoduced with ''cool book''. it is a journal sort... have puzzles, space for us to write the summary about, how we'd spend the day... that was the ''solo time'' actually.. which majority of people didnt like, please exclude me from it... i loved my solo time... you were asked to find a space, anywhere.. near water, far from the river, on the rock, on the sand, wherever, however 10ft away from the nearby person... i loved writing into my cool book and enjoyed the beauty around... that was the only place where i can actually agree on spending the rst of my life!... lol... after the solo time was over, we played games, based on team work..
that evening we were further treated with soup that had bread crums... lol.. that evening was however a lilttle boring, somehow...
the notice board that night read ''9pm bonfire''... it was okay... people were still in groups.. we got to hear ghost stories... hahahaha i even got scared... that night there was a lil trouble with shagun's bed.. so the instructors came to see it... while they were solving the whole thing, i sneaked out thinking that i would tell harshi to keep her tent open and i would sneak in late... ta-da...i realise that the instructors in my tent didnt realise that i had sneaked out, so i stayed there, anyway... what a luck... i slept with harshi and it wasnt that uncomfortable...we somehow managed... i was relieved to be with someone i knew, i felt homesick only at night... i hate darkness... makes me feel insecure inside out!!
and ta-da... that was my second day... still feeling that it wasnt that great an idea to have come here with harshi. either i should have come with my own group or simply should'nt have come...
i closed my eyes that night, saying good night to diya, chandni and harshita thinking only 6 more days to go... somehow, i'll survive...

************
so today, i felt much better... and guess what? my dear lil beshtie, Aaki gave me a surprise.. not literally a one, but i was surprised, lol... she called me and told me that she'll be near my place with her cousin and hence wanted to visit me... and i was like ''ache kaam mein kis baat kii derii''... we didnt have that good time, you know having serious talk and all, but had funn.. it was pure bliss to have met her after soo long!!!

in the eve saloni and me went to amar colony... all through the camp i missed the chaat papadii... it is like to die for, mannn... so we had that... we went and then sat in CCD... we were broke and ordered the least expensive , choco chip muffin... we shared the lil cake and sat there for like 45 minutes... i told her all about the camp.. and in return i was enlightened by all that i missed in past 8 days...
even though sherlyn's outta station i went at her place, her father was home... i asked uncle about how she was doing and about her result for she gave all india board and not cbse... i was told that her result will be the same day as mine... plus i even got to talk to her on phone.. she's doing fine.. haveing a lil tiff with her mum...she'll be back on 27th... and i'm excited to meet her...

today my devils won and defeated the mumbai indians... and anyway, how does it matter whether we lose or win, we're already qualified for the semi-finals... way to go, Delhi DareDevils! mwaahhh...

i came to know that my chopra partner, aka, shefali aka shefu got a tatoo done... ohh, even i want one.. well i will, soon... soon as in, probably another 3-4 years, lol... but i will... *nmw* :P

tomorrow morning i'm going for some aerobics class with saloni

Ps. my result's due for tuesday... i'm nervous...but more of excited!

Gen.X. cannot break!!!

Gen.X. is the name of the group of 8 besties. Harshi, Samaster, Aaki, Shefu, Viku, Gaurs, Deeksh n Me. This is gen.x. for past 5 years... The group everybody envies, thinks that how come we all manage to stay together... that NOTHING can break us... Just because last week, harshi n me had a night stay at Samster's place, just because of this, SHefu n Viku have decided that they don't wanna be part of Gen.x. anymore. This is ridiculous. Terrible.Horrible.Unbearable. This for the first time that we've had such bizarre fight.
Viku has said so much harsh n awful things to the 3 of us--culprits, plus have been very insensitive to all our pleadings. Samster and i believe that just because of such mere lil thing viku and shefu cant decide to just walk away , there is MUCH more to it, which is yet to be disclosed. Samster is tired of all the effort, and now harshi and me are trying n reaching Shefu, just that she needs to answer our calls!!! ... moreover i can never let this happen. NEVER. We all have to stay together... Forever.

had a good day...

one of my classmates Sadhika had come over... Her dad on his way to office dropped her at my place like at the crack of dawn (8am, it was) lol!! and picked her up on his way back home in the eve! it was a pretty good day...
We watched the movie ''the uptown girls'' , sat online, talked, made each other's hair, did makeup(lol... i know it was kiddish, but somehow i loved it... i seriously miss those golden days when me n my gang of girls here in the colony would play kitchen-kitchen, or would show off the best barbie doll clothes, play doctor-doctor, and play all those self-made games...we would play as though we were born to do it and seemed as though it's going to be like this forever... this is what i hate about growing up, you have leave behind so much, and it all comes naturally. you don't realise it...anyway, its not that I'm not liking my life now, it's just that i WISH we could also do THAT. however, it then strikes to me that, THAT thing is made up for that very phase... you cant carry everything along, THAT has its own time and validity!!)

moving on, with her call i woke up at 8 in the morning after such a long time (of 2 weeks) of waking up at 10 or 11 (yeah, now this is what i call life!!! hahahaha!! :) ) Around 4 in the eve, we went to GK, she got her ear pierced, suppose to be her 3rd pair of piercing... And i was a little jealous, for i also wanted to get my ear pierced, but after my piercing tragedy(which you might not be aware of), i was scared as well...in the silver shop from where sadhika got her piercing done i met my senior who didn't actually recognise me, which became a sort of an embarrassing moment however following the ritual that when-ever i go to GK i meet someone or the other, the unexpected sort!
after checking out gk and evaluating that it is far more expensive and that sarojini nagar market is far more better and we'll surly go there we both ended up purchasing few girl stuff like hair clips, anklets, hairbands, that's it... but i forgot to take my pair of denim that i had given for alteration about 13 days back, almost 2 weeks, that is!!! so i plan to pick it up on Saturday, the day of my 2nd bellydance class (I'm excited!!!!) :D
From gk, we went to amar colony which is another best hang-out place for people like us!! hahahaha! we went to ccd (cafe coffee day) checked out export hut- good stuff they have! and also miss.sadhika bought a chicken roll which she ate all by herself even though i asked her to save a bite for me!!! never mind! :)
so we walked back home... where we found that her dad had already arrived to pick her up and for whom the tea was getting ready... we there hooked up another plan of 6th(may, of course) that is her birthday... n then to meet up once again for shopping(we cant live without it, c'mon we are GIRLS!!!)
Later in the eve, i went at Sherlyn's place... sat there for a while, while I'd narrate to her of how my day went with (of all the people) sadhika. (''of all the people'' because, initially, when she wasn't in my section i didn't like her that much and so it was completely a shock for those when i befriended sadhika who turned out to be very nice n sweet... so actually this was the second time she'd visit me... first time she came for studying, like, 2 weeks before our boards started!!)... and then sherl n me moved on to Gurudwara, stood in front of the gate while her lil bro ran all over the place... sherlyn n me then planned to spend the day tomorrow together, we would watch movie and also have that ''bestie'' conversation... lol! plus i think, and I'm very happy that finally things between sherlyn n me have started settling... regardless of what I'd call her...
plus , she has always been there, and now its my time (she has some crisis on)... ta-da and that's it...

eventually, everything has taken shape... and i like a stupid was  unnecessarily making a fuss out of it!

xoxoxo

One frustrated teenager-it is!!! ''wtf''

in the first 9 days to the summer, i practically did NOTHING; whereas whom ever i used to talk to were busy in something or the other. I got so freaking frustrated that i took my diary, went into the bathroom, sat on the pot cried like a 3 yr old child from whom you snatch away a lollipop... and wrote the following (on the 9 of april)-

''NINE FUCKING DAYS have passed by, and I've fucking wasted these NINE days. I fucking regret these nine days more than ever. it never did hurt when i would spend 9 fucking days not studying during my boards, as it is fucking hurting now. I'm completely freaked out. so fucking freaked out. i freaking don't care now. you know after boards i thought I'll PARTY. you know party means have Fucking some freaking FUN. BE HAPPY. DO WHAT, WHICH I COULD.NT DO for the past fucking year.
but now I'm all fucked up. I'm at home when my fucking friends are out, doing whatever, they are on night stays, out of station. but I'm fucking set back at home, where i go online thrice in 90 minutes just ho i can pass some time.
no-one is ready to understand me. i don't care if things don't go by my 'schedule' but fuck off, THINGS DON'T HAPPEN AT ALL. and no-one is ready to understand. I've no idea to whom i should go. everyone is having fun, i dun wanna disturb anyone. and why should i? i wanna go for guitar classes-I'm SO UNABLE TO FIND THEM. I had planned to go for 'personality development' classes-GOT CANCELLED. there are no belly-dance class around. what the fuck. i wanted to go partying, see places, where i could have gone to mumbai, I'm here, sitting on pot and crying complaining and swearing taking out the frustration. and now when i think what i wanna do, all my excitement and enthu has drained off...for everything, as though now i wanna GIVE UP. as though, if I'm unable to learn anything these 3 months, it'll be the end of my freaking life...
i wanna get outta my house, go somewhere, laugh till my stomach hurts, crack fucking PJ's and laugh at them as it was the freaking best joke on this earth. then i recall, how my mum feels not so proud of me for I've done nothing productive in past 15 fucking years of my life.
it was like so much better in class 10, we all had goals, we knew we had to study, there was always something on the mind of what to 'study' next.
and now i feel-AIMLESS, CLUELESS, UNEMPLOYED-as though I've been thrown out of the job and now I'm searching for a new job and I'm unable to do so and I've a deadline to payback my bills and I'm running out of money-->PATIENCE, that is!!!
I've never been so frustrated that 2nd day in a row I've cried SO freaking very much, that my body feels very light, and tired. I feel my passion have been broken into pieces with a hammer, as though my passion was SO FUCKING BRITTLE that i couldn't even hold on to it...WTF!!!"

PS.me and my friends somehow love this diary entry, it makes us laugh whenever we read it:)...

whenever you start something new there's a little fear in the back of the mind that will I be able to do it... for me it is very difficult to get over of what I had. Even though I miss --zEaLoUsMe--, I even don't deny it is very attached to me, I will try to move on with it, and hopefully forever go on with it, I'm tired of so many blog pages...

Summer of class 11 seems to be the best ever... Where I was crying and mourning all the time for wasting my 2 weeks of summer, I now realise it is sooo much of fun... I do everything that I yearned for in 2008, sleeping late rising late, watching movies on HBO or star movies, do vella-panti, having no stress of studying, reading novels... and what not!!! :)

My gang of girls in school which famously known as Gen.X. have been soo supportive, specially Somya and Harshita that it is beyond thanking them. I seriously owe them a big deal. My other very good friend Sherlyn is such a sweet heart, that even she looked for my back.

Since, the 11th of April everything's back to normal, just like what it is has ever meant to be *PERFECT*
-->My cousin sister, whose like very close to me and resides in Mumbai just had a baby boy, yeah I've a nephew :-P.
-->I got my guitar whose name's *Cedar*.It is of the Indian brand 'Givesom', brownish in colour and of course made of wood. Cedar is a very fine type of wood. Hence my little baby guitar is named Cedar :)
-->After an year of fighting, ignoring, and due to our egos; I finally befriended my pen pal Aniket. And it feels just so good and lucky. It is actually very difficult to find trustworthy people via Internet, you see :)
-->I realised after spending 2 weeks of doing *nothing* and rarely hanging out with my friends I was actually shedding off all the tiredness, stress, frustration(i cried A LOT, hahahaha) that had accumulated during those days where all I did was studying and had ignored all the other feelings...
-->Finally, finally, I found a ''Belly Dance School'' which is fortunately not that expensive plus near my place. All credit goes to my parents... they are a big bunch of darlings and sweethearts! :)
-->And I'm back to normal even though there a couple of things which I want to work upon however pretty minor... so hardly makes a difference...

I really thank God for everything that he has given me... I feel blessed and just like a *princess* thank you very very veryyyyy much!!
Mwahhhh! xxx
